The Product and Services Marketplace was introduced to help members by connecting buyers and sellers to more efficiently to find the right product & services to meet their needs.
By providing personalized and timely notifications for search queries, our goal was to help LinkedIn members discover and explore their professional interests, stay engaged with search, and be informed about content spanning multiple topics
As LinkedIn evolves into a knowledge marketplace, our aim was to assist members in swiftly obtaining clear and concise answers to their inquiries, eliminating the need to sift through numerous posts.
As the search results became taller due to feed style cards and multiple clusters of each entity type, the page become much longer. This made it harder for members to get to every part of the page, know what our results had to offer, and discover content that is most relevant to them.
In addition we wanted to searchers to be able to quickly narrow down their results or apply more specific filters to help them find their results quicker.
